My Father
I am so grateful for everything you taught me, Dad. I feel your absence so deeply.
Your immense love for children and everything you did for them was truly admirable. I know
very well that I inherited my craftsmanship from you. I will never forget, for the rest of my life,
how you believed in me since I was a little child, recognized my talents, and encouraged me on this path.
Rest in peace, my dear father.
Ahmet Özgün
Ahmet Özgün
The special person who brought me to where I am today and tirelessly lit the way for my musical education,
whom I called “uncle” as if he were my real family. A man with a beautiful heart and a deep soul;
the day you left this world, I felt a profound loneliness. I know you are still watching over me from above.
May your soul rest in peace, my dear uncle.
Prof. Salih Ergan
The late Prof. Salih Ergan, Honorary President of Konya Selçuk University, Department of Music Education.
I am deeply honored to have been his student, and it is impossible to forget his personal library and the meticulous care he showed for his books.
Whenever we entered his office, his deep passion for books would profoundly inspire me.
Thanks to him, my respect for books grew immensely, and I will dedicate my upcoming book, “Müzikle Konuşmak” (Speaking with Music), to his memory.
May you rest in peace, professor.
